23 Original aprroximately 9 1/4 inch x 7 3/8 inch Stills for the 1964 Jack Clayton Drama THE PUMPKIN EATER, based on the novel by Penelope Mortimer and scripted by Harold Pinter and starring Anne Bancroft, Peter Finch, James Mason, Richard Johnson, Cedric Hardwicke, Eric Porter, Cyril Luckham and Frank Singuineau.
Bancroft gets into the voice and under the skin of the well-to-do Englishwoman who leaves her second husband for screenwriter Peter Finch. But Finch is unfaithful and Bancroft has a breakdown after her eighth child is born.
10 of the stills feature director Jack Clayton.
The stills are in good condition. All the stills bar 1 have punched holes at one edge.
