Seller's Description
This is a postcard showing five women and a man moving down haymows, using pitchforks, entitled "working on the land". It was published as an "Oilette" by Tucks, in a set of six under the same title (no. 8483). It was posted in (I think) 1918 - if this is the date, it is about three years before the earliest previously recorded mailed date, according to the Tuck database (see here).
The postcard is in fair condition with some wear to the corners and edges, and some marks on the back.
