Seller's Description
New York Daily News 12 October 1979 Castro, CAT scan Nobel Prize, The Knack
New York Daily News 12 October 1979 Castro, CAT scan Nobel Prize, The Knack. What you see in the pictures is what you get. This is a very insteresting old newspaper which features as the front page story Fidel Castro's visit to the United Nations to give a speech. It also features in the Friday section, an article about the band The Knack. There is also an article about Allan Cormack and Godfrey Hounsfield winning the nobel prize in medicine for the invention of the CAT scan. Under the sports section, there is coverage of the 1979 World Series - Baltimore Orioles versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. There are also some really good deals on some classic cars in the classified section - but I doubt they're still for sale.
