Homecoming 1980 Souvenir Teaspoon Tea Spoon Stamp Around Alberta Canada
Please note that there are some imperfections on the crest. (See picture).
I acquired this spoon from an estate sale.
This a lovely spoon featuring Homecoming 1980 "Stamp Around Alberta". It is topped with crest depicting a horse drawn covered wagon with the words "Homecoming 1980" & "Stamp Around Alberta" ..
The rear of the spoon is stamped "Oneida Canada ". I believe the spoon to be silver plated.
I have no guess to the spoons age.
The spoon measures 4-5/8 inches (11.9 cm) long X 3/4 inch (2.2 cm) wide (At the widest part of the spoon bowl) and weighs about 15 gr.
The spoon is in good condition with light surface scratches and tarnish. (See pictures).

'Stamp Around Alberta' was a 3-year marketing promotion aimed at encouraging Albertans to see areas of the province they normally would not visit. Residents were given a "passport" which would be stamped at different information booths, and tourist attractions.

The spoon is stored in a baggie and will be shipped in the baggie, in a padded envelope.
