German Alboth & Kaiser - Burg Cochem An Der Mosel Transferware Cup & Saucer

 
Beautiful little porcelain cup decorated with a rich gilt pattern and transferware design of 'Burg Cochem a.d. Mosel'. Marked on the base 'Alka Bavaria E70' for c. 1947 - 1955. In good condition no chips or cracks. It has with it a little lustreware saucer which was made by a different Bavarian pottery. I'm sorry I don't know the mark. They go quite well together. Cup width 7cms, height 4.5cms. Saucer width 10.5cms.
