Seller's Description

ORIGINAL HORROR / SCI-FI / FANTASY MOVIE                          MEMORABILIA

The best site for rare, authentic horror movie memorabilia, including Universal, Hammer Horror, Amicus etc. original UK Quads, pressbooks, Front of House cards, autographs and more.

Original Vintage, Rare, Hammer Films Ephemera

All items offered are genuine release (usually 1st), old, cinema movie items and so had a 'life' before sale, so unlikely ever to be mint.

This itemAn original vintage movie programme, of 4 card pages, from 1952 for the movie Moulin Rouge. A unique piece for Hammer collectors, for, while not being a Hammer film this is the first time Peter Cushing and Christoher Lee were listed and appeared in a movie together (but not actually meeting or sharing a scene) and preceded their momentous pairing in Hammer's The Curse of Frankenstein by some four years. Also of note is that the cast includes early Hammer regulars, Francis De Wolff and George Pastell, while on the technical side the camera operator was none other than Freddie Francis and the lyrics by Paul Dehn later to be associated with Hammer master composer James Bernard. A most interesting pre-Hammer associated item.  Very Scarce / Rare

Size:    5.50 x 8.75 inches approx.

Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) Very Good ++ -:  no fold; lighter edge / corner wear; overall, a very good copy of a very scarce item.

POST & PACKAGING: all items are securely packaged, for as a collector myself I appreciated the need for secure packaging and all materials used are new. Posting / shipping depends on the item value and under £10.00 1st class post will be used; for items over this amount a tracked system will be used for both UK and international postings / shipping.
