Info from the Editor:
Welcome Friends
One of the most enjoyable things about living in the Midwest is the changing of seasons. Each person has her very own favorite, whether it be the freshness of spring or the ‘fun in the sun’ activities of summer.
As autumn approaches (my favorite season), I pack away the beach towels and sunscreen. As the daylight hours get shorter, my thoughts turn to the rituals of gathering school supplies, digging out that favorite sweatshirt, and visiting the nearby apple orchard. The weather fluctuates—90 degrees one day, 45 degrees the next — and then I know autumn is officially here.
In this September issue of Crafts ‘n Things, you will find projects to decorate the inside as well as the outside of your home. Choose between two sweatshirt ideas to perk up your wardrobe for the approaching fall season. Whether you have someone leaving for kindergarten or college, our Back-to-School projects will help you create a stylish send-off.
just so you can get an early start on Halloween crafting, we have included five exciting projects in this issue. Look for many more frightful and festive Halloween ideas in our October issue. The seasons pass so quickly, so start now and let our Tis Always the Season projects help you craft for everyone on your gift-giving list.
Happy apple picking!
