The Royal Astronomical Society (RAS) was founded in 1820 has most of the UK’s leading astronomers as members and quite a few other distinguished astronomers from around the world. The RAS headquarters are in Burlington House, London, in the Same area as the Royal Academy. This diary has the new RAS logo (it looks like a lot of circularly arranged pins and needles or a slinky formed into a circle) embossed in a black colour on the front cover.
