This 1972 GMC Jimmy 4×4 is finished in bronze and white over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a replacement 350ci V8 mated to a Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes a removable white hardtop, air conditioning, a retro-look digital stereo, a suspension lift, front disc brakes, power steering, locking front hubs, and 15” steel wheels with 35” tires. The seller acquired the truck circa 2021, and subsequent work reportedly included replacing the fuel sending unit, oil pan gasket, serpentine belt, timing chain cover, and front and rear differential covers and gaskets. This Jimmy is now offered with an owner’s manual, uninstalled Alpine speakers, a vehicle cover, and a California title. The truck was factory-finished in Medium Bronze (522) and was reportedly repainted some time ago. Exterior details include a removable white hardtop, white-painted lower body sections, black trim, tinted windows, and chrome bumpers and side mirrors. The seller notes that rust repair on the driver-side bedrail was carried out during current ownership. Corrosion is present on the passenger-side bedrail. Body-color 15” steel wheels are mounted with 35” BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. Manually locking axles are found up front, and braking is via front discs and rear drums. A suspension lift kit has been fitted. The cabin houses front bucket seats and a removable rear bench trimmed in black vinyl with patterned accents. Appointments include black door panels and rubber-lined floors, air conditioning, and a digital push-button stereo with an auxiliary input. Corrosion under the passenger’s seat is reported. A black two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and supplementary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 35k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The coolant temperature gauge has been replaced. The 350ci V8 is a replacement unit that was installed under previous ownership and is topped by a four-barrel carburetor. Tubular headers and a Flowmaster exhaust system have been installed, and work during current ownership reportedly included fluid changes along with replacement of the fuel sending unit, oil pan gasket, serpentine belt, timing chain cover, timing pointer, and temperature resistor. The truck has not passed a California emissions test. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The differential covers and gaskets are said to have been replaced during current ownership. A truck cover, an owner’s manual, Alpine speakers and grilles, and instruction manuals are included in the sale. There is currently a lien on the truck, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the next owner.
