1958 Brooke Bond (Great Britain) Ltd British Wild Life Card # 01 of 50 Good (2)

For sale is a 1958 Brooke Bond (Great Britain) Ltd., British Wild Life, Card # 1 of 50, featuring “The Shetland Pony” in Good (2) condition.

The following discrepancies are noted:  Corners are dinged / starting to round; Borders are off-white due to age / handling; Minor surface wear, light scratches; (1) Small wrinkle / crease near center mass within bottom border, does not show through backside of card; Discoloration on backside of card due to age / handling; Card is off-center. 

Brooke Bond is a British tea company, and the card listed is commonly referred to as a “tea card.”  Card measurements are commensurate with early tobacco cards more specifically the T206 series.

1^st Printing: Brooke Bond & Co. Ltd.

2^nd Printing: Brooke Bond (Great Britain) Ltd.

3^rd Printing: Brooke Bond Tea Ltd.
