Seller's Description
Puzanov I.I. On the inhospitable Crimea. In Russian /Puzanov I.I. Po nekhozhenomu Krymu. In the book, the author writes about such little-visited places in Crimea as the Kerch and Tarkhankut peninsula, the Donuzlav estuary, the Grand Canyon. The author shares his impressions of the old Crimea, about the conditions in which the research work of scientists Andrusov and Zernov, who entered the history of world science, took place. Ivan Ivanovich Puzanov (1885-1971), an outstanding zoologist and hydrobiologist, indefatigable traveler and talented writer, was born on April 25, 1885, in Kursk. After graduating from the gymnasium, he entered the natural department of Moscow University. Lectures by Professors K.A. Timiryazev and M.A. Menzbira had a great influence on the formation of his personality. We have thousands of titles and often several copies of each title may be available.
