Vintage U.S. Army Kingform Cap Deluxe New York Military Dress Hat Size 7 3/8

Description

Condition: The hat is in overall very rough used condition. Multiple stitches and seams have come undone. The stitching for the yellow lining has come undone around the visor. The black felt brim is also loose. The gold decorative band is currently being held on with one button and it also seems abnormally long for this hat. The leather visor actually looks to be in decent condition itself despite also half of it being loose. The green fabric parts of the hat are in good shape with nothing obviously wrong with it. The original owners name tag is still present in the hat. There are no emblems or insignias included with this hat.

Measurements: About 10-1/2” in total diameter x a bit over 8” in inner diameter. The hat is a size 7-3/8.

Other Information: I am not sure what time period this hat is from. As stated in the description, this hat has seen much better days. I hope that someone out there can restore this, use components from this to repair another hat, or appreciate it as is.
