MEN’S CIVIL WAR COSTUMES: Fitted, lined coats A, B have slits, buttons and deep pleats at back, roll back shoulder seams, two-piece long sleeves with buttons, front button closures and stand-up collar; single-breasted coat A is upper thigh length; double-breasted frock coat B is above knee length; trousers C, D have split waistband, tab, buckle at back and button fly closure; trousers D have purchased twill tape or military braid at side seams; shown with purchased hat and belt.

SUGGESTED FABRICS: Coat A, B, Trousers C, D - Mediumweight Woolens; Trousers C, D - Medium to Heavyweight Linen and Cotton; Lining A, B, C, D - Lightweight Cotton Sateen • Lining Fabrics. Additional Fabric may be needed to match stripes, plaids or one-way design fabric.

That is why I take the time to inventory every piece of the pattern. I give you an accurate list of what is in the package, no surprises. Also, whenever possible, I show pictures of the front & rear of the pattern envelope, the Cutting guide and the size chart. The suggested materials and notion lists are also supplied in my listings.

Please Note that I ship patterns via Canada Post letter mail, in a plain envelope and the listed postage is for that method. My Patterns are stored in a plastic storage bags and they are shipped in the same bag (if weight allows) placed inside of a standard envelope. If you require any other packaging/shipping please let me know prior to paying for the item.

Of course, as always, I combine shipping and all stated postage includes free insurance.
