McCalls 8996 sewing pattern by Mariette Hartley. This 1984 vintage pattern will make a Misses' Jacket, Top, Skirt And Pants in a size: 8.
The pattern is uncut and factory folded. See the pattern inventory below.

Please note that the envelope is stamped size 16, but while doing the pattern inventory, I found the pieces to be factory marked size 8.

MISSES' JACKET, TOP, SKIRT AND PANTS:
Unlined jacket has shoulder pads: bracelet length tapered sleeves with buttoned hemline pleat are set into deep armholes. Pullover top has extended shoulders and buttoned back neck opening. Jacket and top have top-stitch trim. Straight skirt with back gathers and straight-legged pants have soft front pleats. pockets in side seams with opening in left pocket. Optional purchased belt.

Jacket, Top, Skirt, Pants - Cotton. Cotton Blends. Lightweight Linen, Jersey, Calton Knits, Tissue Faille. Wool Jersey; Top, Skirt - also Crepe, Crepe de Chine, Charmeuse. NOTE: Jacket, Skirt, Pants - Not Suitable for Diagonals.

NOTIONS:
Thread: Jacket - Two 13mm Buttons, 1.3cm Thick Raglan Shoulder Pads Top - One 9mm Button: Skirt or Pants - 2 Waistband Hooks and Eyes, Optional Seam Binding or Stretch Lace. Purchased Belt.

The envelope is in fair condition with corner folding and edge. The flap is creased. The envelope has the wrong size factory stamped on it. (see Pictures).
