Antique George III Sterling Solid Silver Basting, Gravy or Hash Spoon, Fully Hallmarked For Exeter 1815, making this a 208 Year old Antique Treasure.
Fully hallmarked for GEORGE TURNER, this is a very collectable and LARGE basting spoon, the Exeter Assay office closed in 1883 and so these items are getting rarer and harder to find.
The Basting Spoon is a Full 31cm/12.25 inches Long, and weighs 120gms, it is of the Fiddle Pattern design, it is monogrammed to the handle with W S in script, nice shape to bowl very little sign of wear to the tip..

The Hallmarks and makers marks are clearly struck and the spoon is made of a good gauge of silver.
The condition is good Antique condition no repairs, a number of tiny dinks to the bowl very little sign of wear to the tip of the bowl surface scratches commensurate with age.
