Seller's Description
Charles Baum and his orchestra - DECCA DL 5184 - “Song Hits Of 1940” in the “Song Hits Of Our Time” series, which covered each year from 1917 to 1943, with a long-playing album for each year. The record is in excellent condition, as is the jacket except for a partly split bottom. A nice, rare 1950 10” LP. The tracks are each medleys of 3 songs, usually several instrumentals and one with vocal chorus. Very nice detailed notes on the jacket cover a long list of 1940 highlights in different fields, i.e; news, politics, music, literature, theater, etc.
