Additional descriptive notes (if applicable): the full text on the back of the postcard reads: Big Wheel. This wheel was larger than the first ferris wheel built in Chicago in 1893 for the Colombian Exhibition. Two other almost identical wheels were built for Paris and Vienna. The London wheel was at Earls Court until 1905, when it was moved to Blackpool. The viennese wheel is still in use today at the Prater amusement park.
General notes: in addition to postage my shipping charges include a handling and packing charge. My basic charges for this item are shown on the sales page. However, postage, processing and packing charges for multiple purchases will be combined and will be based upon the actual cost of despatching a package containing all the items bought.
Purchasers who buy more than one item should ensure that they request an invoice, so that they benefit from the consolidated charge for postage and packing.
