Genuine Antique 9ct Gold Propelling Lead Pencil
Hello there and welcome (kroeso) to my wee store.
I sell online in high-end shops and websites and pre-Covid used to attend trade fairs around the globe. I have a huge stock of "bargain basement" items which were great at fairs for inexpensive extras. I also have a massive stock of highly valuable and collectable items never seen before on the internet.
ABOUT THIS ITEM
Constructed from solid 9ct gold (375 parts per 1000).
London UK hallmarked and fully x-ray tested.
Maker; Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Co Ld.
Dates to early part of the 20th Century (c1910s)
The style is classic pull propelling design with no lead in situ.
Has a swivel top with jump ring and Bloodstone cabochon in the top.
Nice plain design, could be engraved.
Condition is very good, especially considering age.
I would class this as a golf marking pencil but decide for yourself.
Fully functional and working well.
Length closed is 62 mm.
Length open is 105 mm.
Width is 12mm at widest.
Weight is 14 grams (for those who care about weight, not quality)
