This large, 11 by 9 inch book is breathtaking! Multiple pages begin this book to record the family tree, military service, births and important happenings. (all entries are blank) A 2-page introduction summarizes the importance of a Christian foundation for the family. The remainder of this book presents brief accounts of the lives of the great heroes and heroines of the Old and New Testaments, with each individual having a facing page of a superb painting illustrating what each may have looked like. This publishing is nearly faultless, marked only by a torn "presentation page" and some light pencil markings on the title page. The pages are not numbered, but I'd estimate there are over 100 individual stories and paintings. The cover is a padded hardboard.
