Some Information About edith_harvey
Giving you a little more insight into the seller.
You may wish to know what EH stands for. The answer yo this is Edith Harvey. That is not my name, but the name of my late mother who passed away when I was four years old. I don't know a lot, or should I say very little, about her. It's funny how you miss someone you never really new or remember. So this the name EH Designs is dedicated to my mother, it makes me feel that I did once upon a time have a real mother. Edith Harvey is run by both myself and my husband. Now less about me and something about EG Designs.
First of a big thank you for taking the time to read about me. I have always used eBay, and like many other on this site have taken the plunge and left all the silly and unfair terms and conditions that they keep adding to more and more, plus their still rising very high prices. Although I have only been a member for a short time I already find the site pretty easy to use with the less red tape.
The items I sell vary, and intention is to increase the amount of items I sell, because this is now affordable. Thanks to eBid.
My main store "EH Designs" where most items will having option of having the item/s personalised with a name or message or both FREE. Tablemats & coaster gift sets, Bedroom plaques/signs, Fridge magnets, Bathroom signs, Bedroom posters, this will be increased with new ideas as time goes on,
My second stall "EH Clothing" will also have personalised items consisting of unisex clothing..
My third store will "EH Music" will hold CD's and Vinyl.
My fourth store " EH Bargains" will hold items of mixed categories.
My Fifth store "EH Computing" will hold computer items.
Now for the boring stuff. I like to keep this short and sweet so we both know where we stand.
The T&M's are the ones I used on eBay and were meant for the idiots that mess about, I am sure you are aware of them.
They will have very little effect, if any, to the genuine buyer.
Postage and Packaging:
This will always be kept at the lowest possible price. Many of my items will be free P&P, but always check.
All items will be posted the following working day of cleared funds when ever possible..
I do not post on Saturdays, Sundays, Bank Holidays or annual holidays.
Personalised Items
All details including pictures are the reponsibilty of the buyer.Orders can not be sent without the details.
Returns Accepted When:
The item is not as listed.
The item is damaged in transit.
Any mistakes of a personalised made by myself making it my fault.
Returns Not Accepted:
1. The buyer ordered the wrong item
2. Any mistakes of a personalised item made by the buyer making it the buyers fault.
3. Items that the buyer attempted to repair or change in anyway whatsoever.
4. Items that are not compatible with any other item it was intended to work with.
5. The buyer changed their mind and the item was personalised.
6. Any item that was listed as spairs or repairs.
7. The buyer did not contact before returning the item
To return any items the buyer must:
1. Contact me within 24 hours of receiving the item
2. Give details of the reason for the return.
3. Send picture if requested.
4. Be responsible for the cost and safety of the item being retuned.
Action taken for returned items.
1/. The item will be checked to confirm the reason the buyer stated.
Items checked and found to be as the buyer stated.
1. Offer the buyer a replacement at the sellers expense.
2. Refund costs of returning to the buyer.
3. Offer a full refund including any P&P costs for sending and returning where applicable.
On checking any returned item found not to be faulty and it was as listed, the buyer can have the item returned at the buyers expense plus 10% handling charge. This cost must be cleared before dispatching.
Or:
Reuse the item to be returned with no refund for any reason whatsoever
MY Promise to any buyer:
All my items that I list on eBid will be listed with a honest description and to the best of my knowledge. If any item is listed as spare or repair I will, where ever possible, descibe the fault.
