Snugglebunz Hand crafted Weighted Therapy Aids Welcome to SnuggleBunz We are Mother Father Son and Daughter`s and based in Dundee Scotland. SnuggleBunz is the petname I call my children, they are my Snugglebunz thus the name we decided on for our site as it is 100% family orientated. Both myself and my two daughters have been handcrafting quilts for some years now mostly for family and friends and we love it. We have created wedding quilts baby layettes bumper sets throws you name it we`ve tried it and we keep looking for new ideas and materials. We also love to create oil paintings, handmade cards and art work when we have any spare time. We decided to offer weighted blankets and lap pads as we found that they were just so expensive to buy and most families who require them have young children as I do. I have a child with Autism too. Life is difficult enough especially when you care for someone with sensory difficulties . People have been very kind to us and we wanted to try to offer some of that kindness back by helping provide others with these weighted therapy aids at as little cost as we can without compromising quality and its important that we offer the children a weighted aid that they will be happy to use. We love sewing and designing new quilts and blankets so its not work its a pleasure and knowing they will be of great help not only to the user but to the families too is just wonderful. It makes it all worth while for us. My own little boy has had such positive feedback using these aids and I know just how much of a difference they can make. Its like night and day. We only use the best grade materials including threads and needles which can be expensive but we dont add on anything extra except a little for our time. Most companies charge over £100 per blanket depending on the size and weight. We charge the same price for each weighted blanket, lap pad, snugglewrap and vest. It does not matter what size you need no extras so you know exactly what your paying and if we can we will aslo deliver it free locally, if this helps. This price is for any weighted blanket up to a maximum of 6kg which is suitable for anyone up to 10 stone in weight. We can make a larger heavier quilt of required so please just ask. We try to use materials and colours that your child loves to help make using an aid easier. Our Lap pads cost £30 again no matter what size or weight required up to a maximum of 3lbs. We can create a matching pillow cover for you to make a quilt set, again just ask. Normally we will do this free if there is enough material left over from the quilt however if not we may have to order extra and add a little to the total cost to cover this usually £5.00 max. SnuggleBunz offer full size quilts, quilt sets, baby layettes, cot quilts and bumper sets, throws, pillow covers and if we dont have what you are looking for, we will certainly try to create something new.
