Welcome To Cumbrian Rider .
We are a family run Equestrian & Pet Retail Business established in September 2005.
We are based in Frizington, Nr. Whitehaven,
We offer a wide range of good quality new and secondhand items for both the horse and rider. With all of our items we try to offer quality products at value for money prices and value our service to our customers. We are able to offer everything from everyday items through to many leading brand names.
We also try to offer a wide variety of cat and dog products, including Ancol. It is impossible to list everything we have in the shop - so if you can't see what you want, please ask, we can probably get it for you AND beat it on price.
We do not charge for Paypal and try and remain very competitive on postage and packing. We always try to ensure that our items are suitably packaged in order to allow them to reach you in perfect condition. We are also happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases wherever possible to help keep your costs down.
All of our items advertised are in stock at time of listing, and will normally be dispatched within 7 working days. If you need it faster just let us know and we will see what we can do.
As we are an actual Retail Shop (not just a Virtual Internet Shop) trading 6 days a week, very occasionally an item may become out of stock and need to be re-ordered. If this happens we will endeavor to get it to you just as soon as our own supplier orders comes in - usually within 3 working days. We will let you know if this happens and an expected delivery time.

Terms of Sale & Payment
We would appreciate payment from buyers to be made within 7 days from end of sale.
Payment from buyers outside the
Sorry, but due to high bank costs we do NOT accept any other method of payment.

Items are normally shipped within 7 working days from payment - often much quicker.
If you require Special Delivery or Fast Shipping please let us know at end of sale.
Note: We wait 5 working days for cheque payments to clear before items are dispatched.
Postage Discount
Postage discounts are available when purchasing more than one item being shipped to a single address. Please contact us after making your purchases for a combined postage invoice.
Returns & Refunds
Any item may be returned within 7 days of the date of delivery so long as it remains in the same condition as sent and in it's orginal packaging. Notification of returns to be made within those 7 days.
We will refund the price of the item, less shipping costs, to the purchaser.
If a different size / colour of item is required to replace returned item a further postage / shipping cost will apply.
Refunds in full will only be given if item not as described / faulty and only once returned goods are received by us.
Note: With the exception of faulty items, which must be notifeid to us within 3 days of receipt, we cannot accept the return of any items which have been opened or used.
