5 Original U.S. 11 inch x 14 inch Lobby Cards for the 1961 Basil Dearden Ground-Breaking Gay Drama VICTIM starring Dirk Bogarde, Sylvia Syms, Dennis Price, John Cairney, Peter McEnery, Anthony Nicholls, Peter Copley, Norman Bird, Donald Churchill, Derren Nesbitt, John Barrie, Alan MacNaughtan, Nigel Stock, Frank Pettitt, Mavis Villiers and Charles Lloyd Pack.
’I wanted him!’ With these words Dirk Bogarde consigned his matinee idol alter-ego to history, and a gripping landmark in gay cinema was born. Bogarde’s closeted, married lawyer Melville Farr is drawn into exposing a terrifying blackmail ring when an admirer (Peter McEnery) commits suicide rather than implicate him.
The cards are in fine condition apart from one which has a nick at the top edge.
