Dear WORKBASKET Reader:
Vacation time is over! Let’s settle down to business and school schedules.
Boys and girls just beginning their school days would be tickled to wear our crocheted ABC sweater, and the knit boat- neck pullover or fake fur jacket would be pure delight for the teen student.
Commemorate your child’s first day of school by cross stitching a little red schoolhouse, then add the child’s name and beginning school date. A practical gift for any young student is the brightly colored, plastic canvas pencil box.
Youngsters need “refueling” to bolster their energy so have our easy but nutritious after-school snacks available.
