Seller's Description

Printed monochrome postcard showing a view of the Waterloo Chamber of Windsor Castle in Windsor, Berkshire, prepared for a banquet.

Published by Lévy Fils et Cie, Paris, No LL 936.

Postally used on 6 August 1917 with single circle Ascot cancellation on green halfpenny stamp and sent to Miss Downes, 7R Block, Peabody Avenue, Ebury Bridge, London SW1.

Good condition, with very slight corner bumps, but light bend to centre of left end and it appears as though the left edge has been cropped slightly.
