Style 1949 sewing pattern. This 1977 dated pattern can be used to make a misses' Dress or Pinafore in a size 10 (Eur. 38), 32-1/2" (83 cm) bust.
The pattern has already been cut out.

One pattern piece has been cut in half. Bodice Front has been cut in half, both pieces are included.

Style 1949

Misses' Dress or Pinafore:
High waisted dress or pinafore. with back zipper, has narrow bodice with shoulder straps. The flared and gathered skirt has self frill for View 1 and 3. Bodice, View 1 and 5,is fastened at front with eyelets and cord lacing. View 1, trimmed with rick-rack, and view 2 have short frilled sleeves. View 4, trimmed with purchased motifs, and View 5 have patch pockets.

To complete garment:
Thread, 14" zipper. View 1 and 5: Purchased eyelets (opt.), 1-3/8 yd. narrow cord. View 4: One large, two small purchased motifs.

Suggested fabrics:
Cotton, lawn, rayon, poplin, pique, soft linen, shantung and silk. View 1,2,3 and 5 also in seersucker, crepe, fine jersey, surah, cotton satin, cheesecloth and synthetics. View 3 also in wool/cotton blends, fine wool and printed wool. View 5 also in even lengthwise stripes.
Extra fabric is needed to match plaids. stripes and one-way designs.
Use nap fabric requirements and nap-layouts for one-way design fabrics.

Bow-Tie: One link hook closure. Cummerbund V. 1 and 3: One link hook closure.
