Vintage antique
Pewter corkscrew and bottle opener set.
Following a recent bereavement, we cleared out the house in Norway. This was
a gift that I recall seeing in the house in Norway when I visited in the 1970s,
but I think this was 1960s made (or earlier?)
It is made by the renowned "KONGE TINN"at HARDANGER SYLVPLETT
This corkscrew and bottle opener made of nontoxic PEWTER.
There was a transparent plastic cover but it was damaged many years ago+has sat in a display cupboard ever since. Card box and moulded plastic tray included.
These two are solid heavy Pewter. Used but excellent condition. No damage to box
Scenes depicted are Norse / Viking images and longboats and crowns etc
