8" X 7" Black and white press photograph

The caption reads: MR J R HUGHES heavily backed second favourite CLATFORD DOWN taking the last hurdle to get home by a length from GIVEN in THE WITTERING SELLING HURDLE.  The winner was ridden by BOB DAVIES who reduced the gap between himself and leading rider JOHN FRANCOME to seven with his 62nd winner of the season.

Dated 1st March 1976.  Good condition although it has suffered from browning with age.
