From 1816 to 1918, Muranov owned, successively, four families, linked by family ties: the Engelhardts, the Boratynskys, the Putyats, and the Tyutchevs. Each of them was involved in the literary life of Russia. The estates attraction is the main house, built in 1842 by E.A. Boratynskim. It gradually developed a complex of literary and household memorials to the brilliant Russian poets, E.A. Boratynskogo and F.I. Tyutcheva. Materials from I.S. Aksakov (poet, publicist, publisher, and first biographer Tyutchev), N.V.Putyata (writer and friend E.A. Boratynskogo), N.V.Sushkov (writer and owner of a literary salon in Moscow), and L.N.Engelhardt (author of historical memo.
