Archpriest Alexey Mechev (1860-1923). Rector of St. Nicholas Church on Maroseik, famous for his holiness. On March 19, 1893, he was ordained a priest by Bishop Nestor, who runs Moscows Novospassky Monastery, to the Church of Nicholas the Wonderworker in Klenniki. He died on June 22, 1923.
