The outstanding designer and artist Lev Agibalov (1945-2021), in his work, demonstrates a movement towards a new sensibility, towards the play of humor, grotesque, new literature, plastic narratives of brutality and tenderness in the designer's work. If the artist's early design work is revealed on the basis of a strategy of what is conventionally called modernist male rationality, the artist's struggle in the 2010-2020s with a paradoxical gesture of art-design against the everyday flourishing spaces of a big city.
