Original 9 1/4 inch x 7 1/4 inch Still of BELINDA LEE & LOUIS JOURDAN on location at Caerhays Castle, Cornwall for the 1957 Brian Desmond Hurst Adventure DANGEROUS EXILE, based on the novel by Vaughan Wilkins.
During the French Revolution, a French nobleman saves the 10-year-old son of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette from the guillotine with the help of an English woman.
The portrait is by Cornel Lucas. Born in 1923 Lucas was a world-renowned Rank Studios photographer known for his legendary black-and-white portraits of stars including Joan Collins, Brigitte Bardot, Lauren Bacall, Marlene Dietrich, Katharine Hepburn and Diana Dors, among many others.
