All our bits are brand new, and have never been in a horse’s mouth. Rugby pelhams are versatile bits, which can be used for showing. The Rugby Pelham has a floating bradoon ring which can be attached to a bradoon headpiece to give the appearance of a double bridle. The french link is useful for horses that lean on a solid mouthpiece, they also give a better feel for riders who are used to snaffle bits. The french link is kinder than a traditional single joint mouthpiece
