this simple diagnostics glucose meter uses clever choice no coding voice test strips.........it will read expired strips.........it is a voice meter and states the readings in english or spanish........i only used it in english........not sure how all the functions work.......looks like there is a ketone warning in there also.......there is an online manual for this specific meter...........i believe it will read non voice strips as well..........please check the manual.........plus it may read the newer version of clever choice strips also......i am not sure.... .......please research before purchasing.........i used just to get glucose readings but it will do a lot more..........the case is brand new........the case was made for a truetest meter but this one fits perfectly........meter in very good overall condition..........does have those hairline scratches mainly on the screen and some elsewhere under magnification and in the lights glare.......many readings in the meter......works well........has working batteries in it at time of listing.........
