The author of this two-volume book, Evgeny Iosifovich Chvertkin, devoted many years to the study of old Sevastopol. Stories and memoirs of old residents, personal impressions, materials of the periodical press, old maps, guidebooks and reference literature were used by him to write a book called Something About Sevastopol. However, during the authors life it was not possible to publish it in mass circulation. After the archive of E.I. Chvertkin was transferred to Sevastopol, the text of the books was edited and supplemented with numerous illustrations, mainly from the collection of Igor Vasilyevich Akulenko.We have thousands of titles and often several copies of each title may be available.
