Full color advertising brochure from the Charles A. Lindbergh Memorial Fund to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the solo transatlantic flight by Charles A. Lindbergh. Lindbergh's flight started from Roosevelt Field, New York, on May 20, 1927. Lindbergh landed his plane, the Spirit of St. Louis, at Le Bourget Airfield, Paris, on May 21, 1927.
The brochure promoted a Lindbergh Memorial Medallion collection.
The unbound 20-page brochure is stamped on four pages with the 50th anniversary of the Transatlantic Flight stamp (Scott #1710). The stamps were canceled on May 21, 1977, with a pictorial cancel at Lindbergh Station, 82001, a special, two-day post office established at the Wyoming State Museum in Cheyenne on May 20 and 21, 1977, to honor the transatlantic flight of Lindbergh. The pictorial cancel shows a portrait of Charles Lindbergh and the Spirit of St. Louis.
