This item: A PRIME COLLECTABLE.   An original re-release UK Front of House set of 8 cards for this top Universal title with some terrific images of these classic monsters; this is a highly collectable title. The set is based on the early rare 1948 set which was an 'H' certificate release - these are 'X' certificate so most likely from the early 1960s and still rare owing to the very limited release the movie would have had then, when only specialist movie theatres would show such 'old' movies (I well remember The Futurist, in Birmingham, showing these programmes though the major chains showed no interest and catered for the latest releases.). Such sets, these days, are very tough to come by for the collector, even in re-release form the original releases being virtually impossible to find. At the time of listing no UK dealer nor website had this for sale. Very Scarce / Rare

Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) : Very Good ++ -:   no pin-holes;  very good corners and edges with some light corner wear / bumps to  most cards; overall, very good. (see photos for further detail; feel free to ask for specific detail.)
