Question From 406df [+2618]

Hi John…could you please check this stamp (yellow s/a and the pink s/a of the same issue) and advise whether they are type a or type b…have just recently learned from a contact in Australia that 2 types exist in the s/a stamps only…difference is: in one type, the # 50 is solid and the other type has a light shadow on the left side of both the 5 and 0 of 50…varieties are not listed by Scott’s and I am on the hunt…definitely interested in one of each type in both colours with as clean a face as possible …sorry for being a pain…Doug (406df)

Hi Doug..I too am an avid collector of OZ stamps. I have checked all my stock of the SG 5360/1 and I cannot see any difference . However I will check all such stamps as they arrive. I am awaiting the new Gibbons OZ Catalogue and if mentioned in there I will contact you if I get any....Regards....John B. ( xexorrex )
