Antique 1900 1920 Art Deco Religious Wood Cross Crucifix
Antique 1900 1920 Art Deco Religious Wood Cross
For sale French Antique cross Brand INRI stamped disc Dark wood Art Deco style pattern to the inner insert. Plain carved solid wood to the bottom layer. Stunning fine detailed Jesus, metal / material unknown Protruding pointed nails fixing Jesus to the cross. Brass hook to the back for hanging.
My description & lack of knowledge of woods & aterials does not do this Antique cross the justice it deserves.
The Cross Crucifix is in excellent condition for its age, but does have some minor marks to the wood
Some rusting to the nails.
I have not attempted to clean the item.
