Synopsis
Director Barbara Sass scored a popular hit with GIRLS FROM NOWOLIPKI, based on the Pola Gojawiczynska novel, which followed the fortunes of four teenage girls. In this delightful sequel, the heroines are girls no more but accomplished women with a clear-eyed outlook on life. Together and separately, they face the challenges of post-WWI Poland when their country regained her independence. Sass’s painstaking recreation of post-WWI Warsaw serves as a convincing backdrop for this finely crafted historical drama.
