Seller's Description
New, old stock Lucas starter motor drive main or shock absorber spring for the majority of model M35G, M35G-1 and M35H motors. This is an unused item even though the box has been opened.
A very wide range of applications from the late 1930s, eg Standard 8 1939, to the later 1960s - too many to list, however, BMC Mini, 1100/1300, Ford Anglia/Escort and Reliant 3-wheeler are a few notable ones. Generally smaller, lighter vehicles used the M35 (3&1/2 inch diameter) starters. Following is a list of most of the starter service nos. (on motor casing) which do use this 250404 spring as there are a few which don't.
