"Letters patent to John Henry Johnson of 47 Lincoln's Inn field in the county of Middlesex Gentleman...A communication from abroad by Edmond Coignet of Paris in the Republic of France...This Invention has for its object to provide apparatus suitable for drying or desiccating by the employment of heat or steam under pressure..."
