Studied at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin at the Faculty of Graphics under M.A. Taranov (1959-1965). The first book illustrated by the artist: Snowdrop woke up V.Shahraya. He worked in the magazines Koster, Neva, Aurora, Pioneer, Murzilka, Kolobok. He participated in and won numerous exhibitions of book graphics and illustrations in Russia and abroad, including the Biennale of Illustration in Bologna (Italy), Bratislava (Slovakia), and Leipzig (Germany).
