Original British 20 inch x 30 inch Double Crown Stock Poster for the Arthur Sullivan Light Opera HADDON HALL, with a libretto by Sydney Grundy and set in this English Country House in Derbyshire.
The opera dramatises the legend of Dorothy Vernon's elopement with John Manners the second son of Thomas Manners, the first Earl of Rutland in 1563, resetting the tale in the 17th century.
The poster was printed by Stafford & Co. probably at the beginning of the 20th Century. The poster is numbered 5911.
The poster is in very good unfolded (rolled) condition with a small tear at the top edge.
