Seller's Description
Lovely old book 'The Poetical Works of William Wordsworth' edited with memoir by Edward Dowden in seven volumes. This is volume one, published by George Bell & Sons in 1892, the 'Aldine Edition of the British Poets'. The pages are hand cut and slightly yellowed with a bit of page end soiling but not bad condition for age. It looks like the front end paper has been removed, and there is a sticker inside the front board, but the book has a nice portrait frontispiece. The red boards are a bit stained with the spine and gilt lettering faded but still a nice collectable item. Length 17.5cms, width 11cms, 408 pages.
