This item:    A PRIME COLLECTABLE  An exceedingly rare offering being an original release set of 8 Front of House cards for this top collectable title. I say cards, but they are, in fact, glossy photographs, with a Wicker Man printed title / info strip glued to the bottom of each photograph. Allan Brown's excellent book on the The Wicker Man details its very poor and shoddy release often via 'fleapits' (Brown's word) so little attention was given to promotional materials. When it went out as the lower half of a double-bill with Don't Look Now the full Don't Look Now Quad has a sticker to the bottom for The Wicker Man (exactly the same style as this Front of House set) and even the full Quad for the movie was a simple photo of the wicker giant (another very rare Quad). Such pieces are genuinely rare and very seldom offered. At the time of listing no major UK memorabilia dealer, nor internet site had this set on offer.  Rare

Size:             8.00 x 10.00 inches approx.  (one exception - see below)

Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) :  Fine - / Very Good ++  -:   no pin-holes;  very good corners and edges with minimal wear; one card / photo (Lee in front of The Wicker Man) has a professional trim so is 7.25 x 10.00 inches approx. - I have had 2 sets in my entire collecting decades and the other set had exactly the same trim to the same image, why this is I really don't know but simply offer up this information; overall, very good.
