JOHN FRANCOME is one of racing's most charismatic characters who, throughout his fifteen-year career, broke all the records and was the most successful National Hunt jockey ever. He rode for the best trainers in the country, in particular, the legendary Fred Winter at Lambourn, with whom he became champion jockey seven times and rode 1,138 winners.
