Seller's Description

The Workbasket and Home Arts Magazine January 1987 Happy New Year

There is writing on the front cover, there is damage to the front cover where the address label was removed and an order form has been clipped out of the inside back cover.

I don’t see any other writing or damage to the Magazine.

The Workbasket and Home Arts Magazine by Modern Handcraft Inc. January 1987 NO. 3 VOL. 52

This 64 page magazine contains crafts, recipes, and home making ideas.

The theme for this edition is “Happy New Year”.

From the Editor

Dear WORKBASKET Reader:

A number of magazines publish an index at the end of each year, listing projects published, issue and page. Because of The WORKBASKET’s size, this would not be practical. In lieu of this, we suggest the following:
Use an ordinary recipe box with alphabetical dividers. Cards under A could be for afghans — one for knit, one for crochet. Under B — baby ensembles, booties, etc. Include only those projects that interest you. A section labeled miscellaneous hints is sure to come in handy too.
Another possibility is an inexpensive three-ring notebook with dividers — one divider labeled needlework, another crafts, another recipes and so forth. Under needlework use a different page for afghans, another for baby, another for children’s, misses’ or men’s sweaters. Each line could include a short description of the project, issue and page number.
The initial time spent compiling your index might seem lengthy, but what a time saver when looking for a specific article. Later additions will take only minutes.

The WORKBASKET staff wishes all our readers a happy, healthy, prosperous New Year.
