From The Editor
Dear WORKBASKET Reader:
We heard from a number of readers about the “new look” of The WORK- BASKET, and we really do appreciate your thoughts and comments.
Most of you commented that you liked the “new look;’ but there were certain areas that were lacking. The most often mentioned was the absence of a tatting pattern. So, good news for all our tatters, there will be at least one pattern in each issue. No dress pattern page was another comment. We will be including various patterns along with our Shopper pages as space allows. Some readers missed the Making Cents column. We have elaborated these easy projects that are fun for youngsters and Ideal for bazaar items into one item, featured toward the back of the magazine in a page called “Fasten Off”
As in the past, quilting projects will still be offered three times in one year (10 issue) period, as will the transfer patterns. Look for the next transfer pattern to be included in your October, 1989 issue, just in time for the holidays.
As additional ideas and suggestions occur to you, we still welcome your comments.
