- General Comments: The Field Museum of Natural History is located in Chicago, IL, USA. It originated as the Columbian Museum of Chicago in 1893 using exhibits from the World’s Columbian Exposition. The museum gained it’s “Field Museum” name from the rich benefactor: Marshall Field, who was a Department Store tycoon. Perhaps one of the best known exhibits is “Sue, the Tyrannosaurus Rex”. The museum has featured in a couple of well known movies: “Damien: Omen II”, “Relic” and “Chain Reaction”. One side of the leaflet is about events and exhibits. The reverse side is a map of all three floors. Would be useful for anyone visiting Chicago and wanting to find out about places to visit, albeit some of the exhibits may have changed slightly. Or perhaps it would be a nice souvenir for somebody who worked at the museum on 2001/2002.
